Center for Women formally opens in Sierra Leone

Freetown, August 2007: Youth Action International’s Center for Women Empowerment has opened its doors to women living in the poorest communities in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Women living in five of Sierra Leone’s slum areas will be able to access the centers programs which include alternative counseling, business enterprise workshops, computer training, and micro-credit loans.
