YAI’s Center For Women’s Empowerment Graduates 62
On July 24th, YAI celebrated the graduation of 62 women from its Center for Women’s Empowerment in Monrovia, Liberia. The women graduated with the job training, life skills and micro-loans needed to maintain successful businesses. President Sirleaf was in attendance and spoke to the women, congratulating them on their achievements. The Center is a free vocational training institute that aims to empower women as successful businesswomen and confident role models in their communities.
