Liberia: 600+ Teachers Trained

117

On August 19th, YAI teamed up with Humanity Unites Brilliance and StarShine Academy to provide the Quintessential Teacher Training (QTT) to more than 600 teachers in Monrovia, Liberia. The teachers came from over 70 schools within Liberia. The focus of the training was to provide teachers with the training and personal commitment towards body, mind, spirit, health, wealth, and happiness and to give them a foundation of support and vision for the change they are creating within each of their students. At the earliest ages students can begin to live purposeful, passionate, prosperous and peaceful lives.

Each of the teachers participating in the training program will have access to YAI and HUB’s joint teacher resource center, which will open in Liberia in 2010. The teachers will also receive educational materials for their students and over 100,000 students will benefit from the program, which seeks to improve the quality of learning in Liberia.
